Winter Storm Approaching

A winter storm is expected to arrive in our area tomorrow, Thursday February 18.

4-8 inches of snow is currently forecast between Thursday morning and Friday midday.

Moderate to heavy snowfall will be accompanied by gusting winds and followed by a freezing rain mix Friday afternoon.

Residents and businesses are advised to begin planning NOW to have vehicles off streets beginning Thursday morning, and should anticipate keeping them off streets until sometime Friday evening.

Once snow reaches 2”, cars must be off streets or risk being ticketed.  There are no exceptions.

When clearing snow from sidewalks and driveways, snow may not be placed into streets.  This is a violation of Village Code and can also result in ticketing.  Please place snow on lawns or aprons where it will melt harmlessly.
