Healthcare Workers to be Honored Tonight at 7:00 PM
In an effort honor all healthcare workers during the unprecedented COVID 19 pandemic, Nassau County fire departments will sound their firehouse and apparatus sirens tonight, Tuesday April 7, at 7:00 PM.
Residents should not be alarmed by multiple sirens, and should remain at home under current isolation protocols.
However, we are all advised to take a moment during this sirens salute to reflect on the courageous efforts being undertaken all day, every day by all healthcare workers. Workers who have committed themselves to our health before even their own.
Please take this moment to mindful of our healthcare workers and to be truly thankful.
