Snow Advisory Dec 10

December 10, 2019
16:00

Local weather services are forecasting 1-3 inches of snow tonight, impacting the morning commute.

Temperatures in the 50’s are expected to drop rapidly tonight leading to snowfall in the overnight and early morning period, tapering off by noon tomorrow.

This may make for a very slippery and slow moving morning commute.  Take care when driving.

Residents and businesses are reminded that Village snow regulations take effect anytime 2 inches of snow has fallen.

Once 2 inches of snow has fallen, all vehicles must be removed from all streets within the village for 24 hours or until plowing is completed.

Also, please remember that when removing snow from sidewalks and driveways, snow may not be shoveled, plowed, or blown into streets.

Please monitor local weather reports and be prepared to remove cars from streets if needed.

Thank you.
