In response to COVID-19, the Village of Mineola is operating under a modified sanitation schedule. Effective March 19, 2020 the following Sanitation Collection Schedule is in effect.
This schedule is subject to change at any time.
Revised Sanitation Collection Schedule
Effective March 19, 2020 – Until further notice. Subject to Change
There will be NO REARYARD COLLECTION – All collection materials must be brought to the curb
Mondays – Route A (regular Monday/Thursday collection days)
Residential Garbage – Please observe a 5 item limit
and,
Village Wide Residential Yard Waste
and,
Commercial Locations & Apartment Buildings -- Jericho Turnpike, Willis Avenue North of Jericho, Herricks Road, and Sagamore Avenue
Tuesdays – Route B (regular Tuesday/Friday collection days)
Residential Garbage – Please observe a 5 item limit
and,
Commercial Locations & Apartment Buildings -- Downtown Area
Mineola Boulevard, Station Plaza, Willis Avenue South of Jericho, Main Street, Old Country Road, Second Street and East Second Street
Wednesdays – All Commercial Locations & All Apartment Buildings Village Wide
There will be NO collection for Residential Routes A & B
Thursdays – Route A (regular Monday/Thursday collection days)
Residential Garbage and Rubbish – Please observe a 5 item limit
and,
Commercial Locations & Apartment Buildings – Jericho Turnpike, Willis Avenue North of Jericho, Herricks Road and Sagamore Avenue
and,
Newspaper on 3/19 and 4/2
Recyclables on 3/26 and 4/9
Fridays – Route B (regular Tuesday/Friday collection days)
Residential Garbage and Rubbish – Please observe a 5 item limit
and,
Commercial Locations -- Downtown Area
Mineola Boulevard, Station Plaza, Willis Avenue South of Jericho, Main Street, Old Country, Second Street and East Second Street Commercial Locations
and,
Newspaper on 3/20 and 4/3
Recyclables on 3/27
