RESOLUTION ADOPTING
FEE SCHEDULE OF THE
VILLAGE OF
MINEOLA
WHEREAS it
is desirable and in the best interests of the Incorporated Village of Mineola
that a separate fee schedule be maintained in accordance with and as part of
the official Municipal Code of the Incorporated Village of Mineola, New York
and which may from time to time be amended, superseded, repealed and modified
by Resolution of the Board of Trustees.
NOW
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the annexed Fee Schedule be and hereby is
enacted to read as annexed hereto and made a part hereof.
BE IT
FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall and hereby is to take effect
immediately upon filing of the local law adopting the Village of Mineola
Municipal Code in the Office of the Secretary of State and shall be construed
as a continuation of the fee schedules heretofore adopted by the Board of
Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola, New York.

One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or fraction thereof: Fifty Dollars ($50.00).
Each
additional One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or fraction thereof: Ten Dollars
($10.00).
Certificate
of occupancy (new construction): Twenty‑five Dollars ($25.00).
Temporary
certificate of occupancy: Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).
Certificate
of occupancy on an existing building: Forty‑five Dollars ($45.00).
E.
Plumbing.
Pursuant to § 29.25 of Chapter 29 entitled
"Plumbing" the following fees are hereby established:
Application for examination: Fifty Dollars ($50.00)
Each subsequent examination: The sum fixed by the Board of Examiners, not to exceed Twenty‑five Dollars ($25.00).
Fee for Metal plate or sign: Five Dollars ($5.00)
Annual renewal of registration: Two Dollars and Fifty Cents

1. New sign permitted by § 30.81(A), Professional

Dollars ($50.00).
3. New signs permitted by § 30.84,
Gasoline/Diesel Service Stations, except § 30.85(A)[5]: The greater of One Dollar ($1.00) per square
foot or Fifty Dollars ($50.00).
Pursuant to § 30.107, Fees and
deposits:
Filing fees for application to
the Zoning Board of Appeals or the Board
of Trustees:
1. One‑or two‑family residential dwellings.
a. New construction: Two
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00).
b.
Alteration and addition to existing construction: Twenty‑ five
Dollars ($25.00).
2. All other structures:

Deposits.
In
addition to the filing fees required by § 30.107, the following deposits are
hereby established and required:

1. All applications to the Board of Trustees
which require a public hearing: Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00).
2. All applications to the Zoning Board of
Appeals:
a. Residential dwellings: Twenty‑five Dollars ($25.00).
b. All other construction: Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00).
3. In the event that the amount of deposit required is insufficient to
cover the costs, then the applicant shall, at such time as may be fixed by the
applicable Board or administrative officials, as the case may be, deposit with
the Village an amount sufficient to defray the actual cost.
4. In the event that the amount of the deposit shall exceed such
cost at the conclusion of the particular application, the unused portion of the
deposit shall be returned to the applicant, provided that the applicant shall,
within six (6) months thereof, file with the Village Clerk a written demand for
such refund. All unclaimed deposits shall become the property of the Village of
Mineola after a six‑month period.
5. Reimbursable Expenses.
No permit shall be issued by any
municipal body of this Village until all expenses incurred by such municipal
body for consultation fees (including engineering, architectural and legal) or
other expenses which, at the sole discretion of the municipal body, to be
necessary in connection with the review of the application are reimbursed to
the Village by the applicant. At the
time of the application, and throughout the review process, the applicant shall
deposit with the Village Clerk such amount to cover consultation fees and
extraordinary expenses that shall be established, from time to time, by the

G. Swimming Pools.
Pursuant to § 35.4 of Chapter 35
entitled "Swimming Pools" the following fees are hereby established:

Application
for permit: One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for first One Thousand Dollars
($1,000.00) of cost and Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each additional One Thousand
Dollars ($1,000.00) of cost or part thereof.
H. Streets and Public Places.
Pursuant to §§ 44.9 and 44.23 of
Chapter 44 entitled "Streets and Public Places" the following fees
are hereby established:
Permit for excavations within
highway right-of-way: Seventy- five
Dollars ($75.00).
Permit
for construction of streets, sidewalks, aprons, curbs and gutters: Five Dollars
($5.00) up to the first fifty (50) lineal feet and Ten Cents ($0.10) for each
additional lineal foot in excess thereof.
Curb cut permit: Three Dollars ($3.00) and a cash deposit of
Ten Dollars ($10.00).
I. Water Regulations.
Pursuant to § 45.21 of 45
entitled "Water Regulations" the following fees are hereby established:
Licensed plumbers: Pay a fee of
One Dollar ($1.00) for filing his or her bond.
J. Sewer Use.
Pursuant to §§ 46.32 and 46.42
of Chapter 46 entitled "Sewer Use" the following fees are hereby
established:
Application for residential or
commercial building sewer permit: Ten Dollars ($10.00)
Application for industrial
building sewer permit: Twenty‑Five
Dollars ($25.00)
