              RESOLUTION ENACTING TRAFFIC ORDER #      

                        OF THE YEAR 199

 

  BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola, New York, as follows:

 

  Pursuant to the authority contained in Article 39 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola, New York, hereby enacts by Resolution the following regulations:

 

  1.  [Repeal.]   Article II of the Traffic Regulations of the Incorporated Village of Mineola are hereby repealed except, however, for the purposes of interpretation and enforcement, all regulations presently existing and incorporated in the new Article hereinafter enacted shall be construed to be a continuation of same; provided further that this repeal shall not affect any punishment or penalty incurred or abate any action or proceeding now pending or which may be brought for any violation or act committed prior to the effective date of this repeal.

 

  2.  Article II is hereby enacted to read as follows:

 

                          "ARTICLE II

                 STOP AND YIELD INTERSECTIONS

 

[Set out exactly as new Art. II is to read.]

 

  3. [Amendment.]  Paragraph 90 of § 60.4.3 of the Traffic Regulations of the Incorporated Village of Mineola is hereby amended to read as follows:

 

  "90.  Kennedy Lane.  On the east side:

 

  Ninety (90) minute parking Monday thru Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

 

  4.  [Adding new Section, etc.]       A new Section to follow § 60.4.6 of the Traffic Regulations of the Incorporated Village of Mineola is hereby added to read as follows:

 

"§ 60.4.7  Diagonal Parking

 

  In the following described limited parking area, parking of vehicles shall be diagonal to the curb or bumper guard or rail erected therein:

 

  1.  Shuster Avenue:  On the east side.

 

  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these Regulations shall take effect on January 2, 199  and when traffic control devices are erected pursuant to §§ 1682 and 1684 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

 

 *Sign must conform to State Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.

**NYSDOT must approve in writing any regulations on any state maintained highway.
