        NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ZONING LAW

 

  PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there has been introduced before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mineola, New York on August 26, 199 , Local Law No. 7 of the year 199  entitled "A LOCAL LAW AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND SUBD. D OF § 30.61 OF CHAPTER 30 ENTITLED 'ZONING' OF THE VILLAGE OF MINEOLA MUNICIPAL CODE" and that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees at the Village Hall, 171 Jericho Turnpike, in the Village of Mineola, New York on the 18th day of October, 199  at 8:00 o'clock P.M.

 

  Said proposed Local Law provides* that the Zoning Map be amended so that the following described area presently zoned R-3  Residential District be reclassified and changed to the B-1 Business District:

 

  All that tract or parcel of land bounded on the north by the center line of H       Street, on the east by the easterly Village line, on the south by the southerly Village line, and on the west by the center line of S          Street. It being intended that the B-1 Business district be extended from east of S          Street and south of H       Street to the easterly Village limits.

 

   And said proposed Local Law further provides that Subdivision D of § 30.61 entitled "Fences and Buffers" be amended to restrict the use of fences that are intended or designed to cause injury to a person making contact with same and allow exceptions thereto in the M-Light Manufacturing and Industrial District.

 

  Copies of the proposed local law may be examined in the Village Clerk's Office in the Village Hall, 171 Jericho Turnpike, Mineola, New York, at any time during regular business hours prior to the date of the public hearing.
