RESOLUTION INTRODUCING LOCAL LAW AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC

NOTICE AND HEARING*

BE IT RESOLVED that Local Law No. 6 of the year 199 entitled "A Local Law adding Chapter 16 entitled 'Snowplow Operators' to the Village of Mineola Municipal Code" be and it hereby is introduced before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mineola, New York, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of the aforesaid proposed local law be laid upon the desk of each member of the Board of Trustees, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees hold a public hearing on said proposed local law in the Village Hall, 171 Jericho Turnpike in the Village of Mineola, New York at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Monday, September , 199 , and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Clerk publish or cause to be published a public notice in the official newspaper of the Village of said public hearing at least three days prior thereto.

[Upon adoption of the above resolution, the clerk should distribute copies of the proposed local law by laying a copy thereof on the desks of each of the members of the Board of Trustees.]

*While the adoption of such a formal resolution is not essential, the recitation of the required procedure is a reminder of the required steps that must be taken.
