RETIREMENT INCENTIVE PROGRAM

§ 90F.1 The Election

The Incorporated Village of Mineola hereby elects to provide all of its eligible employees with a retirement program authorized by Chapter 70 of the Laws of 1999.

§ 90F.2 The Commencement date

The commencement date of the retirement incentive program shall be September 3, 1999.

§ 90F.3 The Open period

The open period during which eligible employees may retire and receive the additional benefit shall be ninety (90) days in length.

§ 90F.4 The Benefits

The 1999 Retirement Incentive Program shall provide eligible employees with an additional one-twelfth of a year of service for each year of retirement service credited as of the date of retirement. The maximum amount of additional retirement service credit that can be provided under this incentive program is three years.

§ 90F.5 Effective Date

This local law shall take effect immediately upon being filed with the Secretary of State.
