Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated
Village of Mineola
held Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at the Village Hall, 155 Washington
Avenue, Mineola, New York.
PRESENT: Mayor
Jack M. Martins
Trustee Lawrence A. Werther
Trustee Paul S. Cusato
Trustee John S. DaVanzo
ALSO PRESENT: Village Attorney John Spellman
Village Clerk Joseph R. Scalero
Sunshine Observers: Approximately 10 Observers
Mayor Martins opened the
meeting at 7:00 PM.
A Public Informational Meeting was held at
7:00 PM at the Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, New York, 11501 in
order to receive public comment upon the proposed Master Plan for the Village
of Mineola.
Resolution No. 391-05
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has directed it’s Village Clerk, Joseph R.
Scalero, to notice for a public hearing on January 23, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. the following
considerations;
1. Adoption of a Comprehensive Master Plan
2. Classifying the proposed application pursuant to the State Environmental
Quality Review Act; and
3. Resolving that the Board of Trustees designate itself lead
agency pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review
Act.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review
Act, the Board of Trustees must circulate the proposed Comprehensive Master Plan,
and full environmental assessment form to all involved agencies as enumerated
in the attached list.
