Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola held Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, New York 11501.

Village Clerk Joseph R. Scalero presented a November 2009 Justice Court monthly report. Village Clerk Scalero reported on events that are taking place at the library in the month of December; Forever Free Lincoln Exhibit that will be at the library for four more weeks, closing on January 8, 2010; the “Toys for Tots” campaign through December 18, 2009; the “We Care Blankets” campaign which collects knitting yarn for volunteers to knit blankets for children undergoing chemotherapy; and the Winter Reading Club “Reading With Monsters”, a reading program where kids can earn Monster Jam prizes and even win a ticket to the “2010 Monster Jam World Finals” in Las Vegas. Village Clerk Scalero also reported on the status of the re-codification project and reiterated that the holiday sanitation collection schedule will be posted on the Village of Mineola’s website and our Cable television programming.
