Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola

held Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue , Mineola , New York 11501 .

Mayor Martins opened the Special Work Session at 6:30 PM .

Resolution No. 284-07

Resolved to approve the following new member of the Mineola Fire Department:

Douglas De Franco Company No. 1

Mayor Martins discussed the application for a Special Permit/Development Incentive Bonus by K & P Realty Holdings, LLC, for the property known as 228 Harrison Avenue . The matter was originally presented on October 17, 2007 , held open and decision reserved. The applicant has agreed to screen the north side of the property with a fence and either bushes or trees and pay the Village an Incentive Zoning Bonus of $10,000.00. Mayor Martins requested a motion to approve the application.

Resolved to approve the Special Permit and proposed Development Incentive Bonus payment by K & P Realty Holdings, LLC.

A Public Hearing was held at 7:00 PM at the Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue , Mineola , NY 11501 in order to receive public comment upon the following:

APPLICATION OF POLIMENI INTERNATIONAL, LLC FOR A SPECIAL

PERMIT PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE

INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF MINEOLA ENTITLED “ZONING”,

SECTION 30.5 (DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVE BONUS LAW), FOR THE

CONSTRUCTION OF A 285 UNIT RESIDENTIAL CONDOMINIUM IN

THE B-3 ZONE UPON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST

CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF OLD COUNTRY ROAD AND

WILLIS AVENUE , MINEOLA , NEW YORK , KNOWN AND DESIGNATED

ON THE NASSAU COUNTY LAND AND TAX MAP AS SECTION 9,

BLOCK 430, LOT (S) 10, 65, 212, 411, 415, 418 AND 419.

Resolved to declare the Village of Mineola the lead agency for this application.
