Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola held Wednesday,
September 14, 2005 at the Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, New
York.

Mayor Martins reported on a letter that he had received from the owner of Long Island Checker Cab requesting and additional 15 licenses in order to improve it’s service to Mineola residents. Mayor Martins requested a hearing date of November 9, 2005.
Mayor Martins discussed a letter that he had received from the owner of All Island Taxi of Mineola requesting an increase of $2.00 to the local fare for transportation within the Village a Mineola due to rising gas prices.

Resolved to reject All Island Taxi of Mineola’s request for a $2.00 fare increase for transportation within the Village of Mineola.
