Be it further resolved that the owner of this property must discontinue use of his old property and is prohibited from selling it for automotive use.

Building
Department Superintendent, Daniel B. Whalen thanked Mayor Martins and the Board
of Trustees for MEAD Day. Mr. Whalen reported on the Building Department’s
activity report for the month of August.
Mr. Whalen gave an update on the Commerce Bank project as well as the
Chaminade High School project.
Mayor Martins
announced a new segment of the meetings that would address resident complaints.

Village Attorney, John Spellman reported that the Village had received a CSEA notice of claim for the termination of medical premium payroll deductions. Mr. Spellman recommended that the matter be forwarded to Ryan, Donnelly and Brennan as it parallels the Local 808 matter.
Resolved to refer the CSEA matter pertaining to payroll deduction of medical premiums to Ryan, Donnelly and Brennan.

opened the Public Meeting at 7:45 PM.
Mayor Martins recognized Rita D’Angelo and members of Boy Scout Troop #200 in attendance. Mayor Martins gave an update on the opposition to the LIRR proposed plans for the Third Track. Mayor Martins complimented Pool Director, Dan Kopetic and the entire staff of the Mineola Pool.
Trustee Lawrence Werther reported that Paul May was elected President of the Library Board. Trustee Werther also reported on upcoming events at the Mineola Library. Trutsee Werther thanked everyone for their sympathy and support.
Trustee Linda Fairgrieve wished everyone a Happy Labor Day and gave the Justice Court report for the month of August.
Trustee Paul Cusato apologized for missing the Work Session as he was delayed at work. Trustee Cusato congratulated Kathryn Hoeckon her accomplishments. Trustee Cusato also reported on the upcoming 50th Anniversary of the MAA scheduled to be celebrated on April 22, 2006.
Trustee John S. DaVanzo reported on the Mineola Pool season as well as the Fire Department golf outing.
Mayor Martins reported that 101 Jackson Avenue had been sold and that the new owner would be refurbishing the building.
Mayor Martins announced that the Village would be holding a 9/11 ceremony on Sunday, September 11, 2005 at Memorial Park at 8:52 AM.
