Resolved that the Board of
Trustees declare itself as lead agency pursuant to the New York State
Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) with respect to the installation of a
49.72 kW photovoltaic array on the rooftop of the Department of Public Works
Central Garage, and to declare this an unlisted action with a negative
declaration under the New York State Environment Quality Review Act (SEQRA).

Superintendent of Buildings Daniel B. Whalen presented a monthly department report for June 2010.
Water Department Supervisor Frederick Booher presented a water department report and stated that the village water supply is operating optimally despite the extreme hot weather we have been experiencing.
Village Clerk Joseph R. Scalero presented a June 2010 tentative Justice Court monthly report.
Village Attorney John
M. Spellman stated that Polimeni International has requested that the public
hearing scheduled for July 14, 2010 be postponed until September 15, 2010 to
allow additional time to prepare updated plans and documents for the Village
Board.
Mayor Jack M. Martins presented
an overview of the August 11, 2010 Public Hearing on the proposed expansion of the development incentive bonus
overlay district and further stated that a second Public Hearing is scheduled
for August 11, 2010 to consider a local law to allow employees to participate
in the New York State Early Retirement Incentive Program.

at 7:40 PM.

Mayor Jack M. Martins thanked the Nassau Pops for a great concert followed by a village fireworks display, July 2, 2010 and stated that it was a great way to start the July 4th weekend. Mayor Martins reminded residents that they can come to the Community Center if they need relief from the heat and have no other resources to escape from the high temperatures.
Trustee Lawrence A. Werther reiterated how great a performance the Nassau Pops Concert was along with the fireworks display and reminded everyone that on July 23, 2010 there would be another concert by the Nassau Pops at Memorial Park at 8:00 PM, however, there will be no fireworks.
Trustee Paul S. Cusato stated that is was great to see all those enjoying the Nassau Pops Concert and fireworks, thanked the pool staff and pool board for their efforts in getting the pool ready for this season. Trustee Cusato further stated that he attended the Girls Minor Softball team and thanked everyone who came out to support them.
Trustee Thomas F. Kennedy stated that the Nassau Pops Concert was great and reminded everyone to look after neighbors, especially the elderly and home bound, in these extremely high temperatures.
Mayor Jack M. Martins congratulated all 2010 graduating classes, especially recognizing those graduating from Corpus Christi and stated that, due to the school closing, they are the last graduating class. Mayor Martins reiterated that the public hearing scheduled for Wednesday July 14, 2010 on the Winston Project has been adjourned at the request of the applicant to the third Wednesday in September, September 15, 2010.
