A Public Hearing was held at 7:55 PM at the Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, New York, 11501 in order to receive public comment upon the following:

 

            APPLICATION OF 250 OLD COUNTRY ROAD, LLC FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF MINEOLA ENTITLED “ZONING”, SECTION 30.5 (DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVE BONUS LAW), FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 257 UNIT RESIDENTIAL CONDOMINUM IN THE B-3 ZONE UPON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT OLD COUNTRY ROAD AND THIRD STREET, AND BOUNDED ON THE EAST BY THE THIRD AVENUE, MINEOLA, NEW YORK, KNOWN AND DESIGNATED ON THE NASSAU COUNTY LAND AND TAX MAP AS SECTION 9, BLOCK 675, LOT(S) 2A-2B.

Resolution declaring lead agency under SEQRA concerning the application of 250 Old Country Road, LLC

 

            WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola (“Board of Trustees”) has received a special permit application from 250 Old Country Road, LLC for a Development Incentive Bonus, pursuant to §30.5 of the Code of the Village of Mineola to allow the development of 250 Old Country Road as a 257-unit residential condominium, for site plan approval and for architectural approval; and

 

WHEREAS, As part of the application, the project sponsor is proposing various public amenities; and

 

WHEREAS, At its meeting of March 25, 2009, the Board of Trustees adopted a resolution indicating its intent to serve as the lead agency for this application; and

 

WHEREAS, The Board of Trustees undertook and continues to undertake a coordinated review, and no objections were received from any involved agencies; and  

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees hereby declares itself as lead agency under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA).
