Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola

held Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, New York 11501.

Trustee Thomas F. Kennedy was excused from the meeting.

Resolved to approve bills and payroll.

Resolution No. 105-08

 

Resolved to approve the request of the Corpus Christi Church for permission to hold a devotional procession on Sunday, May 25, 2008 from approximately 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM utilizing the enclosed route.

Resolution No. 106-08

 

Resolved to approve the request by the Mineola Chamber of Commerce for the use of Jericho Turnpike between Mineola Boulevard and Willis Avenue on Sunday, July 20, 2008, starting at 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM subject to approval from New York State Department of Transportation and the Nassau County Police Department.

The Mineola Mustang Run Committee Corp. is requesting the use of Village streets and facilities on Sunday, November 16, 2008 for the 24th Annual Mustang Run/Walk.

 

Tabled until 5/21/08

 

Village Clerk instructed to contact village religious organizations to solicit input regarding Mustang Run’s impact on places of worship.

 

 

 

    Resolution No. 108-08

 

Resolved to approve separation from service payment for accumulated time and leave to Deputy Village Clerk Janet H. Zalkin.
