A Public Hearing was held
at 6:45 PM at the Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, New York, 11501
in order to receive public comment upon the following:
PROPOSED
LOCAL LAW AMENDING SECTION 30.31 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE INCORPORATED
VILLAGE OF MINEOLA, ENTITLED “B-1 DISTRICTS” TO CREATE A SUBSECTION (D), TO BE
ENTITLED “RESIDENTIAL USE” TO PROVIDE FOR RESIDENTIAL USES WITHIN THE B-1
DISTRICT CONSISTENT WITH ADJACENT RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS.
PROPOSED LOCAL LAW CORRECTING THE
SECTION HEADING OF LOCAL LAW
NUMBER 1 OF 2006, WHICH PROVIDES
FOR RESIDENTIAL USES WITHIN THE
B-2 DISTRICT CONSISTENT WITH
ADJACENT RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, TO
BE “SECTION 30.32 ENTITLED B-2
DISTRICTS, SUBSECTION (E), ENTITLED
RESIDENTIAL USE”.
Benjamin Truncale, Esq. presented an overview of section 30.31 amendment and Mayor Martins explained the intent of the change.

Resolved to declare the proposed Local Law amending Section
30.31 of the Municipal Code of the Incorporated Village of Mineola, entitled
“B-1 Districts” to create a subsection (D), entitled “Residential Use” to
provide for Residential use within the B-1 District consistent with adjacent
residential districts an unlisted action and
approve a negative declaration under the State Environmental Quality Review
Act.

Resolved to approve the proposed Local Law amending Section 30.31 of the Municipal Code of the Incorporated Village of Mineola, entitled “B-1 Districts” to create a subsection (D), entitled “Residential Use” to provide for Residential use within the B-1 District consistent with adjacent residential districts pending Nassau County Planning approval.
