Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola held Monday, April 11, 2005 at the Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, New York.

Resolution No. 78-05

 

Resolved to approve the request by Corpus Christi Church to hold a devotional procession on Friday, May 13, 2005 from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM.  From Garfield Avenue to Willis Avenue south to Second Street and then north on Willis Avenue back to the Church.

Resolved to approve the Mineola Middle School Drama Club’s request for the use of Wilson Park for their annual picnic scheduled for June 11, 2005 (rain date June 12, 2005) from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Resolved to approve the Cross Street School’s request for the use of Wilson Field (picnic area adjacent to the tennis courts for their annual 5th grade picnic scheduled for June 1, 2005 (June 7, 2005) from approximately 9:30 am to 2:30 PM.

Resolved to approve the request by the American Legion Mineola Memorial Post No. 349 to hold its Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies on Monday, May 30, 2005.  The parade participants will assemble at Wilson Park at 10:30 AM and leave at 11:00 AM west on Westbury Avenue, north on Roslyn Road and west on Jericho Turnpike then south on Marcellus Road to Mineola Memorial Park.

Resolved to approve the Mineola Fire Department’s tentative itinerary for the 2006 Nassau County Fireman’s Association Parade/Block Party that they will be hosting in July 2006 throughout the Village:

 

·        Thursday, July 6, 2006 – Amusement rides and entertainment

·        Friday, July 7, 2006 – Amusement rides and entertainment

·        Saturday, July 8, 2006 – Drill, Parade, Amusement rides and entertainment

·        Sunday, July 9, 2006 – Amusement rides 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
