Minutes-Organization Meeting April 4, 2005
Minutes of the Organization Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola held on Monday, April 4, 2005, at the Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, New York. The meeting commenced at 7:00 PM.

Attorney, John Spellman was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening.
The
evening began with Mineola Fire Department’s Presentation of the colors.
Carl
Marchese of the American Legion Mineola Memorial Post #349 led the pledge of
allegiance.

resident Karli Bonné performed the National Anthem.
Master
of Ceremonies, John Spellman gave the invocation.
Mayor
Martins welcomed and thanked everyone for attending. Mayor Martins presented
Trustee Louis Santosus with a plaque and thanked him for his seventeen years of
service to the Village as a Trustee.

Jack M. Martins was sworn in by Honorable Maureen O’Connell, Assemblywoman,
17th District.
Trustee
Lawrence A. Werther was sworn in by Honorable Angelo P. Ferrara, Councilman,
Town of North Hempstead.
Trustee
John S. DaVanzo was also sworn in by Honorable Angelo P. Ferrara, Councilman,
Town of North Hempstead.
John
Spellman recognized all of the dignitaries, organization leaders and Village employees
in attendance.

Resident Karli Bonné performed God Bless America.
Mayor
Martins recognized Judge John O’Shea and opened the Work Session by requesting
a motion to appoint Richard M. O’Callaghan to the position of Associate Village
Justice.
Resolved to approve the appointment of Richard M. O’Callaghan to the position of Acting Village Justice.
