Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Mineola

held Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, New York 11501.

Sunshine Observers: Approximately 15 Observers

Mayor Martins was absent from the meeting.

Deputy Mayor Lawrence Werther opened the Work Session at 6:50 PM.

A Public Hearing was held at 7:00 PM at the Village Hall, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, New York, 11501 in order to receive public comment upon the following:

A PROPOSED LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 56 OF THE

MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE INCORPORATED VILLAGE OF

MINEOLA ENTITLED “LICENSING OF RENTAL DWELLING

UNITS IN MIXED OCCUPANCY BUILDINGS AND MULTIPLE

DWELLING”, SECTION 56.7, ENTITLED “FEES”,

SUBDIVISION (A), ENTITLED “PERMIT APPLICATION FEE”

TO PROVIDE NEW RATES FOR THE FILING OF RENTAL

REGISTRATION APPLICATIONS

Resolution No. 35-08

Resolved to declare the proposed Local Law amending Chapter 56 of the Municipal Code of the Incorporated Village of Mineola entitled “Licensing of Rental Dwelling Units in Mixed Occupancy Buildings and Multiple Dwellings” and unlisted action with a negative declaration under the State Environmental Quality Review Act.

Resolved to approve the proposed Local Law amending Chapter 56 of the Municipal Code of the Incorporated Village of Mineola entitled “Licensing of Rental Dwelling Units in Mixed Occupancy Buildings and Multiple Dwellings” Section 56.7, entitled “Fees”, subdivision (A), entitled “Permit Application Fee” to provide new rates for the filing of rental registration applications.
