Duties & Responsibilities
The Water Department is responsible for the production, treatment and distribution of potable drinking water for our residents. Some of the other services provided by the Water Department are lead and copper testing, meter testing, annual hydrant flushing and repair and maintenance program and leak detection services for the approximately 52 miles water mains in our Village.
The Sewer Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Village's 70 miles of sanitary sewer mains and lateral sewer lines. The Sewer Department also offers a preventive maintenance program for sewer lines to assist our residents in guarding against unwanted sanitary sewer line back-ups.
